Sri Hasanamba Dental
College & Hospital, located in Hassan (Karnataka), came into existence
in 1991. The college is spread over an area of 5 acres of land. It is
affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and is recognized by
Dental council of India (DCI). The dental college has also gained the approval
from Government of India, New Delhi and Government of Karnataka,
Bangalore. The college offers five years
of undergraduate degree level Bachelor’s of Dental Surgery (BDS) course.
Sharavathi Dental College & Hospital intends to train aspirants as
well-qualified and skilled dentist. In order to accomplish its aim, the dental
college focuses on imparting clinical experience along with theoretical
knowledge to the aspirants. The college, part of Sharavathi group of institutions,
is spread over a sprawling area of 40 acres of land. It has spacious
classrooms, well-stocked library, Dentures workshop, well-equipped laboratories
and clinical dental departments. It also provides hostel facility for both boys
and girls which would be fruitful for the students who live outside Bidar city.
The town and the Institution are well connected by train and bus and also, many
food joints and tourist places in the city enable students to go for a hangout
and refresh themselves of their hectic schedules and enjoy themselves.

This is a Four + One year Compulsory Rotatory Internship Course.
This is a four year course with one year of Compulsory
Rotary Internship, thus making it a five year course.
UG & PG Programmes are recognised by Dental Council of
India (New Delhi) Affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences,
Bangalore.
