The college is managed and run by Sambhram Charitable Trust. Established in 1991, it works with an aim of imparting quality education in the field of dental science. 

KGF College of Dental Sciences is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of health Science (RGUHS), Bangalore and approved by Dental Council of India (DCI), New Delhi. The college is also recognized by the Government of India. It offers an undergraduate level programme in the field of dental sciences, that is, Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS).
