PM Nadagowda Memorial Dental College and Hospital was established in 1987. The Institute is recognized by Dental Council of India and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore. The Dental College aims to train aspirants as well-qualified and skilled dentists by providing quality education to them. The College is having well qualified faculty in all the branches of Dentistry and is headed by an eminent Principal. The total built up area of the college is 1,39,452 sq. ft. Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)            

BDS- Stands for Bachelor of Dental Surgery. Typically, BDS is a 5 year course, minimum eligibility for which is an intermediate (10+2) with science and 50% marks. Dental Surgery handles all problems and diseases associated with gums, teeth and mouth as well as soft and hard tissues of oral cavity.
