S Nijalingappa Ins. of D. S. MDS Courses

S Nijalingappa Institute of Dental Science & Research is located in Gulbarga district of Karnataka. The institute was established in 1986 by Hyderabad Karnataka Education (HKE) Society. Initially, the institute was under Gulbarga University but in 1996, its affiliation was shifted to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science (RGUHS) Bangalore.

S. Nijalingappa Institute of Dental Science & Research institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate course in the stream of Dental Sciences - BDS - with an intake of 40 students and MDS with an intake of eight students per year. Both the courses offered by the institute are approved by the Dental Council of India (DCI) and are conducted as per the norms of RGUHS Bangalore.

Nijalingappa Institute of Dental Science, imparts the under Graduate dental training programme leading to BDS of 5 years with 240 teaching days in each academic year as per the dental council of India, revised BDS course regulation 2007. The same is adopted by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science.
