VS Dental College in
Bangalore was established in the year 1986 and is run by the Vokkaligara
Sangha and started the MDS course in the year 2001. Being located in the heart

Bachelor of Dental Surgery - BDS
The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of
health sciences Bangalore & is recognized by Dental Council of India. The
duration of the course is five years including one year of compulsory rotary
internship.Internal assessment will be based on evaluation of periodic tests,
assignments, clinical presentation etc. Regular periodic tests will be
conducted throughout the courses. There will be a minimum of two tests during
I, II, III and final year. The average of two tests will be reduced to ten in both
theory and practical and sent to the University before the university
examination as per notification. Proper record of the internal assessment is
maintained for all students and made available for scrutiny.
