Krishnadevaraya Bangalore MDS Admission Criteria

Krishnadevaraya College of Dental Sciences and Hospital, Bangalore was founded in the year 1992.

The College is associated Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and recognized by Dental Council of India. 

The college is also offering post graduate course in dentistry M.D.S. (Master of Dental Surgery) in six specialties like, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, Periodontics , Conservative Dentistry, Prosthodontics and Oral Pathology. It is situated 21 Km away from the buzzing city, in a quiet and serene campus of sprawling 133 acres called Krishnadevarayanagar.

The dental college is a 100-bedded hospital, is well equipped with ultramodern healthcare facilities and sophisticated state available round the clock. Students are trained in general healthcare in the subject of General Medicine & General Surgery in the third year of their course. 

The College is found in a very region of beautiful scenery with hills, tall trees, ontogeny flowers and delightful skyline. The College is set twenty one kilometer far from the noisy town, in a very quiet and serene field of sprawling 133 acres known as Krishnadevarayanagar. Out of the 133 acres, ten acres are specially earmarked for the event of the Dental College. To provide education of excellence and developed students with deplaned & integrated temperament to get autonomous standing to the represent faculties, to develop a totally residential field.

Eligibility:
The candidates are required to pass Bachelor of Dental Science (BDS) from a recognized University.

Admission Procedure:
  • A candidate for admission to the M.D.S. Course (Master of Dental Surgery) should have a Degree of B.D.S. from associate degree Indian University recognized by Dental Council of India. Period of the course is of 3 years, consisting of six tutorial terms. the educational term for the M.D.S. Course can begin from might of each year.
  • To be eligible for M.D.S. Course, a candidate ought to have passed B.D.S. course from a recognized College and will have completed one year’s situation as last date fastened by the involved authorities every year. Applications for admission to the M.D.S. 
  • A Candidate UN agency has passed the Second year Pre-University or XII customary or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry & Biology as opt subjects and English mutually of the languages and has obtained not less than 50% agg marks or equivalent grade is eligible for admission in to the B.D.S course
