Farooqia Dental
College, Mysore was established in 1992, is one of the thirteen
institutions promoted by Rifah-ul-Muslimeen Education Trust (RMET), Mysore.
The college is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of
Health Sciences, Bangalore. It was granted recognition for bachelor of Dental
Surgery course by the Dental Council of India, New Delhi and the Government of
India.
The college is with an object to make its own worthy
contribution to its community and also the general public of Mysore city and
other places with well skilled professionals of dentistry.

It was granted recognition for bachelor of Dental Surgery
course by the Dental Council of India, New Delhi and the Government of India.
The college has adequate play ground and Hostel for Men and
Women. Students out patient block and other amenities and also the
infrastructure like class rooms, laboratories, administrative office, reading
room facilities, sports room, students common room, have been provided as per
the DCI norms. The Undergraduate BDS Course is for four years and one year of
compulsory rotating Housemanship.

Eligibility : Farooqia Dental College Mysore
Applicant must have pass in PUC/PDC/10+2 or equivalent with
Science subject PCB and English 50% marks in aggregate. There are 40% marks in
case of SC/ST Karnataka candidates only.
Must have completed 17 years of age by 31st December of the
year of admission.
Candidate should be medically fit.
Farooqia Dental College Mysore Admission:
- A candidate for admission to the M.D.S. Course (Master of Dental Surgery) should have a Degree of B.D.S. from associate degree Indian University recognized by Dental Council of India. Period of the course is of 3 years, consisting of six tutorial terms.
- Candidates with pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board in science stream with minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together are eligible.
