School of Dental Sciences, Greater Noida , a lucrative profession, is concerned with all health problems afflicting the teeth, gums tongue and other hard & soft tissues of the Mouth, Head and Neck,. This profession demands high standards of care and skill while dealing with dental patients. A qualified Dentist identifies the dental disease, performs the required treatment and maintains the oral health and prevention of dental diseases through necessary steps from time to time. Dentistry has wide scope because each person is a potential patient. 

India is developing as a medical tourism centre of the world due to its low cast and highly skilled health care facilities, especially Dentistry. There is a huge demand for the Dentist. In School of Dental Sciences, Greater Noida there are 9 different specialties, each specialty has its own significance in diagnosing the dental diseases or problems related, its treatment and also the maintenance of health of the oral cavity. At present no specialization courses are offered because till the first batch of students BDS degree is recognized by DCI no other courses can be started. 

Established as a state private university in Greater Noida through the U.P. State Legislative Act in 2009 and approved by UGC, is the only multi-discipline campus spread over 63 acres with an impressive infrastructure, a diverse mix of students, and a stimulating environment. In obedience of the public notice by UGC we don’t have any off-campus centre(s) beyond the territorial jurisdiction of the State, i.e. Uttar Pradesh. Sharda may be new but its founders, the Sharda Group of Institutions, have been providing quality education in northern India for 14 years
