In pursuance with the need for more medical and para-medical professionals, a group of enterprising and committed people pooled together their resources and expertise their solidarity for the furtherance and advancement of education in the district of North Karnataka, namely , Raichur. There was enduring need for a good educational institution, promoted by dedicated people without any ulterior motive intending t create the requisite infrastructure for developing the place of Raichur as a recognizable city for imparting quality at par with the best institutions of the country. A positive initiative in this direction was laid with the formation of NAVODAYA EDUCATION TRUST, a registered trust.
OBJECTIVE
- To promote education in India in all faculties of medical, para-medical, education, humanities, inclusive of vocational job oriented and short term courses.
- To establish and maintain all types of educational institutions.
- To create, organize and run colleges, schools, institutes, and other centers of learning with the counter parts like hostels, hospitals, clinics, gymnasium, recreation centres, orphanages, libraries etc.
- To strive for maintenance, growth and development of academic standards.
- To help the poor and organize charity for deserving and needy student and public.
- To generate and promote the opportunities for self-employment among the rural literate, young un-employed by establishing appropriate educational institutions.
- To redeploy the revenues generated for achievement of the objects of the trust.
