D.A. Pandu Memorial
R.V Dental College was established in the year 1992 formerly affiliated to
Bangalore University & presently to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health
Sciences, approved & recognized by Dental Council of India. The D.A. Pandu
Memorial R.V. Dental College & Hospital is located in a spacious building
& equipped with the state of the art equipments to treat Dental & Oral
Diseases. The D.A. Pandu Memorial R.V. Dental College has a academically sound
faculty in all the branches of Dentistry with many experience.
The College offers the Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
course that is of 5 years duration including one year of compulsory rotatory
internship. At present the college is imparting training in BDS degree
(Bachelor of Dental Surgery). The College offers Postgraduate course in all the
9 specialties of Dentistry.
The College has been involved distinctively in the field of
Community Dental Health Programme in rural areas. The details of this have been
furnished. Our institution was the first to have Mobile Dental Van in Bangalore
city. The equipment was donated by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day
Saints, USA. The objective of this programme was to expose our students to work
in the rural setup of our country, to enable them to work in rural areas after
graduating. The institution has organized a number of continuing dental
education programs, Lectures & Workshops involving various National &
International Speakers which has enabled our students & faculty to acquaint
themselves with the recent advances.

Course Duration : 5 years
- Candidates for admission to BDS course must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology at the qualifying examination .
- "Candidates seeking admission under NRI / Foreigner Quota are eligible for direct admission and there is no need to take any Entrance Examination."
- The candidate shall have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete this age on 31st December of the year in which he / she seeks admission
