Rural Dental College & Hospital, was established in 1992 in the historical
city of Gulbarga situated in the Northern part of Karnataka. It is unique,
recognized,minority professional college which offers BDS & MDS courses in
3 specialities i,e Oral Medicine & Radiology, Oral Maxillofacial Surgery
& Orthodontics.
The College is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of
Health Sciences, Bangalore and recognized by Dental Council of India.
The College was established with the focused objective to
bring intellectual awaking, impart quality education and to provide Dental
relief to people of all walks of life. Since its inception in 1992, the college
has grown up by leaps and bounds to attain the present state. In the beginning
the college use to function in its own building near central bus stand. However
management had objective to start Post Graduation with better infrastructure. A
new building was constructed on a 6 acres plot at Naganhalli Road, Gulbarga.
The building houses all dental and medical departments, Lecture & Examination
halls spread over 100,000Sq.ft.
The MDS course in 3 specialities i,e Oral Medicine &
Radiology, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery & Orthodontics are fostered
with well qualified staff to guide students & departments are equipped with
state of art equipments for Post Graduate training programme as well as to
provide quality treatment to the people of the region.
Dental Profession is the noble one with self reliance and
with Post Graduate degree a student can choose for academic side with ample
opportunities in India and abroad.
We believe in imparting quality education as it is the need
of the hour to sustain in this competitive world. It is our endevour to develop
a dentist who can serve the mankind effectively and efficiently with good human
values.

departments along with lecturer & examination halls spread over 100,000 sq.ft.
