Sri Jagadguru Murugharajendra Vidyapeetha Dental College is located in, Chitradurga founded by Sri Jagadguru Murugharajendra Vidyapeetha Trust and was established in the year 1986. This college is recognised by the Dental Council of India, New Delhi and Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.

Vision

The vision of Vidyapeetha is to establish educational institutions to impart need based and value based education with an intention to produce dedicated world class leaders, build a strong society based on the principles of spiritual personalities of Sharanas of 12th Century AD by removing the inequalities of all sorts and generate worthy citizens for the peaceful co-existence of people at national and global level.

Mission

The mission is to organize and manage various schools, colleges and hostels to train younger generation to take up vocational education for their development and offer the best man power to the needs of the country's progress. Mere imparting the knowledge and skill is no longer a goal of an educational institution unless it is found on moral and spiritual foundation. Hence, besides empowering the youth with professional knowledge and skill, it is aimed at empowering them with social, cultural and spiritual values to enable them to lead and build a peaceful community living.
